Stereotactic body radiation is a therapy that is performed on the body rather than the brain. The treatment procedure can also be called stereotactic ablative radiotherapy (SABR). The method of achieving this treatment is mainly done with the focus of radiation beams on the body parts affected by tumors. Treating tumors in body parts like the spine, lymph, lungs, liver, and other body’s soft tissues can be done through Stereotactic body radiation(SBRT). To easily target the affected body area, this procedure employs 3D imaging, which results in minor damage to the surrounding tissue of the treated body parts.
